Community Partners

St. Peter’s created the Leap Frog Program in 1990 and has been a constant support since. St. Peter’s offers space, in-kind donations, monetary assistance, and many other forms of support.

OUUMC joined forces with St. Peter’s in 1997. Because of their willingness to help, the program grew to serve more students. OUUMC offers space, in-kind donations, monetary assistance, and more.

Since 1995, Leap Frog has been the recipient of annual grant funding from our local United Way. Besides monetary support, United Way offers outreach connections and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Coaching for Literacy’s mission is, “Give every child in America the chance to Read.” CFL partnered with Leap Frog to achieve its goal beginning in 2014. Coaching for Literacy offers Leap Frog the opportunity to engage with University of Mississippi students and receive support from national staff.

Since Leap Frog’s inception, OSD has helped identify students who will benefit from the program and buses them to our sites. Leap Frog was is currently housed in a school district building.

LCSD works with Leap Frog to help identify students who will benefit from additional tutoring and buses them to our facilities.

Traveling Trunks, from the University of Mississippi Museum, visits our students once a month. During the visit, students are introduced to an artist, art form or art history. They then create art based on what they have just learned. Leap Frog has partnered with Traveling Trunks for over 10 years.
